Learn To Paint

When: Wednesday 22st and 29th Nov from 12pm till 2.30pm
Where: 36 Morris Street, Dayboro. Qld 4521
Please park in the front yard and enter via the side gate.

What: This class is aimed at beginners or intermediate artists who enjoy learning in a small group environment. Classes consist of a min of 3 and max of 8 people.
You will learn colour mixing, paint application and brush control using acrylic paints on canvas/paper
All paints, brushes, paper, canvases, easels and aprons are supplied.
Tea, coffee, water and juice and lite snacks are provided in an airconditioned studio.

Who: Kathy Owen is a registered Visual Art teacher and artist with many years of teaching experience. She will discuss the materials required and their properties, how to begin and colour mixing theory. Small experiments on canvas board or paper will be followed by a larger scale painting of an aerial view or landscape over the course of 2 x 2.5 hour lessons.
Bring your own picture as inspiration or select from those available.

Cost: $100 for 2 lessons if paid in advance via bank transfer or $120 if paid on the day by cash or card.
