Lets setup the Mobile APP
Basic steps to get started with the mobile “application.”
It is not an application like in the app store or Google Place; it is a Progressive Web App, which means we only install a tiny bit of code. Just enough to make you feel it is an application.
Mobile App
When you browse to https://dayboro.au/pwa, you will see this page; the page can prompt you to install the “app” which is perfectly safe. If you are not prompted, you can opt to save the page to your home screen.
The Dayboro App looks like the image on the left. As you can see, there is a Login Code. This is a code you can generate on your dashboard to log in quicker without entering your email and password, just a five-digit code, and you set.
What is the Quick Login Code?
The quick login code is a 5-character code you can generate on your account dashboard or after logging in.
Why a code?
- You can use it to log in to the mobile app without entering your login details every time.
- It is unique to you, so do not share.
- Most people use mobile applications.
How to use it?
- Press Generate Code
- Refresh the page
- Remember or write down the code
- Open the Dayboro App
Code Generator
It only shows when logged in, and it will show your code. Generate a new one here or in your Members Dashboard.
You must be logged in to generate a code.
Login to Dayboro App
After you generate your code, you can log in to the Dayboro App.
- Enter the code in the form.
- Click Login
You can now use the tabs to go to the website pages,

Now that you installed the application, there are a few simple steps to remember.

Is this for everybody?
No, this is for subscribers only.
Everybody can use the Dayboro App, however you will not be able to access detailed information that is available for subscribers ONLY.
Do I need a new code every time?
No.
You can use your code for as long as you want; it will not expire. We also set up a “remember me”, which places a “cookie” on your phone so you do not have to log in the next time you use the Dayboro App.
If you log out, you need to enter your code again.
Is it a Mobile APP?
It is a Progressive Web App, meaning we only install a little code—only an icon on your phone and some cookies.
We do it this way because the process and cost for developing and publishing on the app stores is just too expensive.
I want to subscribe, is it free?
Unfortunately, we charge a small fee for several reasons.
- Keep the equipment up to date.
- Keep the server running
- Pay third parties for code development.
- Buy Coffee… lots of coffee.
What if I do not subscribe?
You still get to use the Dayboro App if you want to. You have full access to:
- Dayboro Lions Business Directory.
- Dayboro Events Calendar
- 2 Day weather forecast
- Basic weather information.
