Weather Server confusion

Two cartoon cows wearing glasses sit at computers looking confused, surrounded by flying papers and question marks about weather data

It always happens

Well, ok, not always… but. So the weather server, which is on Windows, did an auto update, restarted and then went … OK bugger it.

It is running on a NUC. I moved it to a NUC as it is only doing some light work; the main work and the heavy lifting are done on Unix servers (yes, plural). I know I have an incompatible disk in that NUC that causes the server to “hang” during startup. But hey, we’re running on a shoestring budget, so I could not afford a proper disk.

So now … well, the weather forecasts and the data are off, and I will spend today realigning them.

GANN reports

It also appears that my Gann modelling server went… well, bugger it. So forecasts for commodities are not working atm. I need to fix that as well. I have about 95 years of commodity data for Gold, Silver, etc., which I report on in the Marketing Report every day.

Veggies reports

Despite my best efforts, it still isn’t updating the way I want it to. So I will look at that again today… see what we can do.

Prose versus Table, I did it wrong.

I tend to confuse myself at the best of days, and as it so happens… I buggered it up yet again. The website was reading the information from the prose it produces, instead of reading it from the model table.
