We built the Dayboro Weather Hub because regional forecasts don’t know where Dayboro is. The closest BOM station is Samford, 17km south, with a different microclimate and different rainfall and temperatures.
Our station on Lyndhurst Hill has been recording for more than 20 years and is privately funded. We get things wrong sometimes, so tell us when you spot a mistake. If the hub is useful to you, a membership helps keep it running.
Want your own backyard weather data?
The Dayboro Weather Station runs on Ecowitt hardware, the same gear listed below. Affordable, reliable, and connects to Wi-Fi so you can check conditions from the couch. Or the pub.
