Dayboro: Warming or Cooling?
Annual temperature and rainfall trends from our on-site weather station, going back to 2006. Every data point is measured here in Dayboro — not interpolated or averaged from distant stations.
That's the question everyone asks, so here's what our own station on Lyndhurst Hill actually says — not a BOM gauge 50 km away, not satellite estimates, not interpolated data from the coast. Twenty years of measurements, right here in Dayboro.
The short answer: the trend line says it's warming slightly. But the year-to-year swings are enormous — 2017 and 2018 ran unusually cool, 2023 came in as one of the warmest on record. Rainfall bounces around even more. Make of that what you will.
