An Evening Soirée Join us for an evening of beautiful music as flautist Helen Lowe and pianist Peter Crane present an intimate program for flute and piano. The evening will feature music by Beethoven, Mozart, Mel Bonis, Herman Beeftink, Ludovico Einaudi, Astor Piazzolla, Eugénie Rocherolle and Carl Stamitz , performed in an intimate house concert setting. This concert also marks a special first, with Peter performing on the 1962 Marshall & Rose baby grand piano , recently fully restored by Brisbane Piano Technician Nathan Winterbine. Helen graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, majoring in Flute and Baroque Flute, and later completed postgraduate studies in instrumental teaching. She has taught instrumental music for more than 30 years with Education Queensland and continues to teach, conduct and perform throughout Brisbane.
