Overview The six hour workshop offers an overview of the basic elements of writing – setting, conflict, plot, character, POV and theme. Writers are guided through a mix of theory and hands-on activities to encourage the ink to flow. The activities are interactive and fun, and can be applied to any form of writing – short story, longer form, poetry, essay or article. Time is allocated for discussion, questions and for participants to write and receive feedback. The presenter is author K. M. Steele who has a PhD in English Literature, teaches creative writing at university level and has published 3 (soon to be 4) contemporary mystery and crime novels.
