Leah and the Bad Choices Leah Cotterell, Queensland's pre-eminent Blues and Jazz singer, is joined by the many talented Bad Choices for a night of captivating song. Leah and her friends, Dave McGuire and Helen Russell, perform brilliant blues, rock, and folk songs full of spirit and groove. The Bad Choices draw on influences from early women’s blues, crackling 50s and 60s R&B, the jazz end of soul, classic pop, and the finest singer-songwriters. Expect to hear songs from Koko Taylor and Jimmy Reed, Ray Charles and Dinah Washington, Al Green, Etta James and Esther Phillips, Warren Zevon, Bonnie Raitt and John Prine - among other best-loved classics.
